You will see a lot of pictures and documents in the coming future. I got back from Portland this morning. Emergency trip to say goodbye to my grandmother. I will probably fly back out in the coming weeks to take care of the car and help sell the house and do away with the rest of her belongings.

I also fount a picture of my cousin Lori that looks like you, Kristen.

Every Saturday, on S. 2nd and Havemeyer here in Brooklyn, there is a man who sets up a big P.A. system, guitars, keyboards, everything. He goes on and on for 5-7 hours about his past as a drug abuser, finding salvation, and war. Half of his sermon is in English, and half of it is in Spanish. He claims that anyone who opposes him is the devil. Anyone.
I work at my friend's tattoo shop which is next door to a bike shop. The owner and his wife have a little girl of about 3 years old, and she needs to take naps as all children do. The mother went up to the guy two Saturdays ago and asked him to turn it down (he's about 50 yeards away from our shops) so her daughter could take her naps. The guy then went on a rant about how Jesus declared the nighttime for sleep, and sleeping in the daytime is a sin. And that she was the devil for asking him to turn it down. Then he went on a rant about all the "white people moving into this neighborhood, all the white devils." He's hispanic. Her retort was "hey fuck you, I was BORN in Brooklyn, and I've lived on this block for 15 years. You immigrated, you're not even a New Yorker." Then he said a prayer for her to cast out the devil.

His favorite rant to go on, is this: "For thousands of years God has been stripping nations of their power. And God is doing America a favor, because America is God's favorite nation. And He is giving America the power to strip other nations of their power. One day America will be the only nation under God." WHERE IS HE GETTING THIS INFORMATION???

Anyways, last Saturday I set up my own speaker system facing out the shop door, and played Through the Eyes of the Dead as loud as I could for 20 minutes, and he packed up and went home.

SUCCESS!

Do you all have any favorite street preachers you'd like to drop kick?

*it should be noted that I am absolutely in favor of freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Otherwise I couldn't even go on this rant. My point is, if you expect someone to turn from their "devilish ways" and come go God, why would you provoke them so? Why would you think that insulting someone, and condemning them to the point of tears or anger, would make them turn to God? It's the same with the assholes who picket funerals of murdered homosexuals with signs like "GOD HATES FAGS!" "FAG DEATH = DIVINE JUDGMENT!" etc...

Yesterday I crashed my bike and I got hurt.

Today I went skydiving and it was the best thing in the history of time. I want to be a skydiving instructor. I just have to shell out a couple hundred bucks every 30 days to keep doing it til I get certified.

Then I biked 12 miles home from 100th and Riverside, to Myrtle and Throop, in Bed-Stuy. I am tired. And I did a bit of work on my bike when I got home, to fix some of the shit that was messed up in the crash.

This is the current state of things:

Also, I sent a text message drunkenly to a girl in the south who writes brilliantly. And then I made a phone call to a small girl in the Bronx who was too tired to speak and it was cute

Earlier I was taking a nap, and my boss called me and said "I need you to bring your camera to work tomorrow. Also, your computer. Shit's going down with the A/C on the roof." Hopefully there will be a dead hobo, or an altar boy from the 1800's on the roof. Or in the HVAC units.

Also, there is a small Asian girl who's been avoiding me for nearly a month.

I'm going to go fall asleep to the thunderstorm.
I've been riding my bike everywhere, every day, for a week now. I think a week. Maybe a little more than a week. It's big, heavy, and fast when gravity is with me. Slow on the climbs, and my tires hate climbing concrete (such as the Brooklyn side of the Williamsburg bridge). But on asphalt this fucker digs in and hauls ass. I just wish it wasn't so damn heavy. I'm hoping to buy a nice single speed road bike by the end of the summer. My mountain bike converted to single speed with racing tires is pretty cool and all, but I'm just too small for it. Pictures tomorrow.

These are some of my favorite polaroids as of late.

I did not take any of these.

All these and more. Fifty Rooms

"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies — 'God damn it, you've got to be kind.' "

Kurt Vonnegut died Tuesday night. And it wasn't the Pall Malls that killed him.

You really don't want to know the future.

A girl named Monica I know is going to die tomorrow. She will be killed, in fact. It is such a weird feeling, knowing this. I feel awful about what's happening. We aren't necessarily friends, but she's always been a sweetheart. She told me once that if "any man try to hurt me, I will give him Columbian necktie."

So anyways. She's alive right now, if you can call it that, but in the morning she will pass. She will be cremated, her ashes sent back to Columbia and scattered there by her family. All the while some asshole with a smashed up SUV goes on like he didn't kill a beautiful person.

SuperSexZombies (12:44:15 AM): I'm wearing boxers and this t-shirt. and I stink because I didn't wear deodorant today. But it's not must. It's still in the musk phase. And I think that's a little bit sexy.

I have to be at work in 45 minutes. I just came home because I forgot my store keys. I was at a friends house 10 blocks from work. God damn storm. God damn piles of ice and "snow."
